&Piano presents our October Weekend 2026

&Piano is hosting another October Weekend after the success of last year’s. This year’s features the fantastic Leeds based six-piece vocal consort Vivify, who will present a programme of music exploring the trials of tribulations of love and relationships, guiding you through Italian and English madrigals by Claudio Monteverdi and Thomas Weelkes, to some turn of the century jazz standards by Cole Porter & George Gershwin!

Earlier in the day, we’re delighted to present Mezzo-Soprano Beth Moxon – 2nd prize winner of the inaugural Rebecca Clarke Song Competition, to share a whole programme of fantastic music by exclusively female composers.

Then on Sunday, we’re teaming up again with Musica Kirklees to showcase a selection of some of their Piano Students at The Civic, Slaithwaite, giving them a chance to perform on the hall’s lovely baby grand piano!
